Processing and Track 'n' Trace
One of the key requirements of legal asset retirement is to be able to account for the method of disposal for each item, whether remarketed, returned to lease company or recycled.
Microteam's bespoke track 'n' trace system has been designed to produce a wide range of reports and our processes have been certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 International Standards.
On receipt at the processing centre, eachpowerable item of your equipment will be labelled with its own unique barcode reference. The item is then scanned to our track 'n' trace system. Standard practice is to record the following:
- unique barcode
- serial number
- asset reference
- make and model
- condition
All this leads to a full audit trail from when and where the item was collected to when it leaves Microteam and where it goes.
Standard reporting inlcudes certificates of disposal and data destruction and remarketing settlement reports. Our Customer Services department will work closely with clients to tailor reports based on specific WEEE requirements.
